Beginner Stained Glass – 5 Week Course
In this class you will learn the basic techniques required to create a stained glass panel. Learn how to cut and shape glass, how to foil and solder, and how to assemble your project for a beautiful completed stained glass panel, handmade by you!
Cost of $55 (plus tax) includes 5 continuous weeks of instruction and your choice of beginner’s stained glass pattern. Class meets once a week for five weeks – 3 hour session each class.
Additional costs for materials and supplies: We offer a student kit complete with all necessary tools and supplies (except stained glass). Student Kits are discounted by 15%. All students receive a 10% discount on other materials and supplies for the duration of class. Click here to register for this class.
Intermediate Stained Glass – 5 Week Course
Learn advanced techniques including repairs of broken stained glass panels. We supply a pattern that will help you to learn advanced cutting techniques, how to use a saw, perfect your soldering skills, pattern adjustments, and how to choose the right kind of came for your exterior along with anything else that comes up during those five weeks!
Beginning Bead Making – 1 Day Class
Learn how to make those wonderful glass beads you see everywhere! Learn how to make stringers and latticinos to further decorate your beads. This class will be one-on-one, and tons of fun!
In addition, you will learn about safety, tools, equipment, proper lighting, and how to properly anneal glass beads.
Fusing 1 – 1 Day Class
In this class you will learn the art of fusing glass. This includes basic kiln operation, elementary fusing terms & much more. You will gain valuable experience while working with a number of materials including frit & stringers. In this “make it & take it” class you will leave with 3 to 4 tiles as well as the knowledge to begin fusing on your own.
Fusing 2 – 2 Day Class
Phil will take you through everything you need to know about fusing from A-Z. You will be introduced to different kinds of kilns and taught how to combine dichroic glass with stringers & frit to create everything from jewelry to plates!
Kiln Casting – 2 Day Class
This is an advanced level fusing class. Please call for details.
Beginning Mosaics – 3 Week Class
This class is taught by Mosaic Master Annie Schank and is held on three consecutive Wednesday evenings. In this class you complete a mosaic art glass serving tray. You may choose from a variety of patterns. All materials are included.
Make it & Take it Classes – 3 Hour Class
Make it & Take it classes give you an introductory set of skills. These classes are great for beginners and usually require no previous experience.
Labs – 3 Hours
Watch and Learn labs are the perfect way to freshen up on a skill set or learn about new techniques and products. Watch for our Lab Series offered throughout the year – for extra savings!
Workshops
-use McMow’s classroom space, grinders and light tables. Saws and tools are available for rent as well.

$10.00 for one 3-hour session
$40.00 for 5, 3-hour sessions
$100.00 for unlimited workshope time for 1 month
Your own tools and glass need to be provided as well as the following items which need to be supplied by you: ceiling tile or cork board to work on, paper towels, bandaids.
